Demo video transcript (including definition of vetting* in this case)

Welcome to the Known Impact platform. This is a quick demo to show you the steps to register and what you then get access to.

Here is how to get started. First, click on the register button and follow the steps to enter your details to create your profile and select your membership type. Once complete, you will be able to make payment if applicable and submit your registration.

We approve every registration for vetting* purposes and to ensure a high quality standard on our platform. If we spot anything that needs clarification or that can enhance your profile we will be in touch with you directly.Once your registration and membership has been approved, processed, and activated, you’re in!

Now you can explore your dashboard space, projects, and add project listings.
This is your dashboard. Here you can view a top level summary of activity including how many of your own listings are live, page views on your listings, projects you have bookmarked as your favourites, and recent messages with other members on the platform.
The ‘My projects’ heading is where you can view your own projects, as well as, add, edit, and remove them.  When you click on ‘list your project’ button, you will be taken to this form to input all details about your project listing.Your profile is your overall profile whereas a project listing is an individual project or opportunity so you can add as many as you wish at any time. The form includes spaces to add details about your project, the key themes and goals they link to, the set-up of the project, ways to collaborate, and space to add media and frequently asked questions. We highly recommend that you add media to your listing such as photos and video links if you have any available as these will make your project stand out and increase partnership opportunities. This is the same with FAQs if you have any as it all allows people to better understand what you do and what you are looking for or wanting to share.
Now, to view all live projects and potential partnerships with other members go to our ‘projects’ page. Here you will have filtering options to explore projects based on their location, key impact themes, goals, or cause.

Finally here are ways you can connect and collaborate on the platform.

When exploring through project listings you can click on the members profile and click on the buttons to message on the platform. You can also access our members directory to explore what other businesses and not for profits are on the platform and message them through their profile there.

If you have any further questions, check out our FAQs or reach out to us via our contact page.

In the meantime, welcome to Known Impact, and we look forward to seeing ways that we can work together and generate impact.
